House Democrats Leave State


The Indiana House Democrats fled the state Tuesday to avoid voting on a right-to-work bill. However, the abrupt departure and extended stay in Illinois will not only kill the right-to-work bill but many others.  House Democrats are demanding an agreement to kill 10 additional bills and agree to not bring them back up during the 2011 session. Included in these bills were the charter-school education bill and the school voucher bill.
